NAJA’s 2010 Media Awards – Indian Country Today wins six
ST. PAUL, Minn.—Indian Country Today won six Native American Journalist Association’s 2010 Media Awards plus an Honorable Mention.
Terri Hansen’s story, “Climate Change, Drought Transforming Navajo’s Dunescape to Dust Bowl,” won First Place Best Environmental Story in the daily/weekly category. I am honored and humbled. (Deb Krol won First Place Best Environmental Story in the monthly category, for her story in High Country News.) With congratulations to all the winners, here’s ICT’s winning lineup:
